I had no idea what to expect at the retreat. Francesca is a very charismatic and engaging leader and brought a lot of soulful energy to our gathering. I can honestly say that this was the most feminine bonding I have done since sorority pledging in college. Prepare for intensely spiritual immersion in goddess tradition. I’ve seen Francesca Gentille be a fabulous conference host and presenter at the Lotus Workshop in Minneapolis. It was in the wonderful month of april that I journeyed to my home in the barrier islands on the coast of north Florida to spend a weekend learning, laughing, remembering, and growing with a very special group of women. The retreat was everything I had hoped for, and the women indeed became a sisterhood, as we studied the teachings of the wise women who lived long ago. Our mentor, Francesca Gentille, is a very wise woman and incredible teacher. She not only knows her history, but tells stories that give food for thought and great support. I could ramble on about the food, the walks, the ocean, the ancient goddesses. When I signed up for Oceans of Feminine Mysteries, I didn't quite know what to expect. What I received was an opportunity to discover the ancient lineage of women, and return to a sense of power in my body. I feel so blessed to have met such wonderful women, spent several days in knowledge and relaxation, and to have come home to myself as a woman in a new way.
